Our Finger Lime Trees are available in over twenty different varieties that have been grafted onto a choice of Pomelo, Troyer and Flying Dragon rootstock. We also grow trees that have been layered from the mother plant for Customers who prefer this method. However our trees are grown, their roots are packed in plastic bags with peet moss on the morning of shipment when being exported out of Thailand.


All varieties of Australian Finger Lime fruit are grown in orchards throughout Thailand. There are thousands of trees grown under different climatic conditions at various orchards. We currently only ship fruit fresh - not frozen. Please check the customs regulations for your country prior to making an inquiry as every country has different restrictions regarding the import of fresh fruit.

Propagation Materials

In order to provide our Customers with a reliable supply of multiple varieties of Australian Finger Lime Trees, we have tissue culture produced in a laboratory. We can provide you with tissue culture, cuttings or tubestock so that you can keep your shipping costs to an absolute minimum and grow trees in your own nursery.

The Finger Lime Market

Even though Finger Lime trees originated in Australia, excessive regulation makes it very difficult and expensive to get trees and fruit out of Australia. As a result, Thailand and other countries are becoming large growers and exporters of Finger Lime trees and fruit to the rest of the world.

Lime Caviar has recently become very trendy with professional chefs due to the fruits caviar-like appearance. Our aim is to put more Lime Caviar on restaurant tables in countries other than Australia.

This is our most popular selling tree. Fruit is usually produced in Autumn. Fragrant thin green skin blushed with crimson. Slice fruit open to reveal a vault of glistening citrus pearls bursting with juicy lime flavours. Originating from the understory Rainforest Pearl naturally enjoys dappled light, although performs best in full sun, in a warm protected location. The original grower is Gary Eyles in Australia.

Judy’s Everbearing

Citrus Gems Judy’s Everbearing has been known to produce fruit, from summer all year round. It produces crops of tasty finger limes, with a very dark green skin, full of glistening citrus pearls. The fruit colour may vary in accordance to climatic region. Originating from the understory, this variety enjoys filtered light but also thrives in a protected location in full sun. The original grower is Judy Viola in Australia.

Want to import trees?

Good decision. Each tree can produce around twenty kilograms of fruit per season and the export market rate for fresh fruit is often between US$40 - $60 per kilo. Fruit is often sold 'in country' for much more. With fruit bearing trees providing an annual income in excess of $1000 per tree, you will understand why it is very difficult to find anyone selling mature trees.

Sounds simple, but it's not. You will have do a lot of research to confirm whether or not fresh or frozen Australian Finger Lime (Citrus Australasica) fruit is allowed into your country. If you are allowed to import Finger Lime Fruit, we professionaly document, pack and ship them to your door via your preferred courier or postal service.
